Rehabilitation and Integrative Therapies

Whether the dog is competing at Agility Nationals, a flyball tournament, a herding trial, or preparing to jump off the couch and go get a treat, we see them! Our canine rehabilitation patients range from dogs that have orthopedic or neurological surgeries, hip and elbow dysplasia, muscular injuries, athletic injuries, degenerative Myelopathy, spinal injuries and disc problems. We consider rehabilitation therapy to be an integrative part of the recovery process following illness or injury. Whether performed as an alternative to surgery or as post-surgical treatment, rehabilitation therapy is designed around each individual patient to ensure a thorough, long-lasting recovery.

Dr. Rodrigues is a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner, member of American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians and has been a speaker in the International Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Symposium. Indications for Rehabilitation Therapy
